The claims of success by internet gurus remind me of the magic hat of a magician. The magician pulls a rabbit, a dove, and then a bunch of flowers. I can see it; yes, it is true. I see a live rabbit and the rest of them coming out of that one hat. How did he do it? Where were they hiding and how did he pull it off? Internet business opportunity is very similar.
The internet gurus claim they make enormous amount of money. In addition, most of them are true. They do make a lot of money. We wonder how they do it. Is it possible that I can do it as well? Yes, it is possible, but the question is will you?
The circus is a similar story. You see bodies flying, bending, running, and doing all sorts of acrobats. Some of us may be able to do it others just know they cannot. So we watch in wonder. The difference between the circus and the magic show is the circus is entirely visible for us to see all. Therefore, we believe it is humanly possible, if we train. Training is the key for succeeding in internet business opportunity.
However, the magic show spooks us. Nothing is visible. This invisible world unsettles us. The reason is we are not sure what goes on behind the scenes. We only see the results and rest of the process is hidden and invisible. Therefore, the traditional belief that something hideous, wicked, or evil is present in magic. We attributed anything we did not understand to the other world, the twilight zone, or the devil.
It is all about sleight of hand. I am not ruling out the other world! Most of the magic is trick and is a highly developed talent and skill. Years of practice usually goes with that secret of success.
I remember, once a magician came to our house and showed us some small tricks. One of them was how a rope cut into two in front of our eyes can be joined back. Magic in internet business opportunity is practice, practice and practice.
He showed us exactly how it is done. He was very good in explaining systematically the procedure. When he showed the whole process broken down in so many steps it took about 30 minutes. When he pulled the trick, it was just under one minute.
The point I am trying to get across is that what the gurus claim can be done by all of us. Internet business opportunity provides an arena for us to practice and succeed slowly and in small measure to start with.
